Illawarra minesite demonstration plant
The Illawarra, a region just south of Sydney Australia, is rich in coal mining history. Green Gravity is constructing a large demonstration facility at the site of a dis-used mine shaft in the region. With retained infrastructure and close proximity to high voltage electricity, the demonstration site is ideal for production testing of Green Gravity’s technology.
Cannington test site
The Cannington Silver, Lead, and Zinc mine is located in central Queensland, Australia. As one of the largest mines of its kind in the world, this site has a long and successful history of underground mining. In 2022 the mine operator has transitioned mining operations to a new operating configuration and no longer requires the main shaft for material and goods movement.
Green Gravity, in partnership with South 32, are utilising the high-quality shaft for operational demonstration of elements of the Green Gravity technology.
